After last year’s sell out festival, Absolut returns to partner with Metropolis for its second year in the motherland, -the RDS from the 3rd – 5th of November 2016. To celebrate this, Absolut Nights is erecting a one of a kind Absolut Facet Bar in the Industries Hall.

Taking inspiration from optical prisms and facets, this year’s limited edition bottle is the Absolut Facet bottle which will debut for the first time at Metropolis. It is a contemporary take on a prism, symbolizing the spontaneous moments of magic in Dublin’s nightlife, highlighting that the best nights happen out of the blue. Loosysmokes – a moving fusion of modern circus and contemporary dance have created a one of a kind, strikingly visual and captivating performance for the Absolut Facet Bar and Industries Hall. Taking inspiration from the The World’s Largest Mirror Ball (which is the size of a three storey building and covered with over 3,000 mirrored tiles, each the size of an A4 page), Absolut face painters will add sparkle and reflections to festival goers and the Absolut Electrik Crew will also be on hand to provide a visual experience to remember as they dance the night away in their LED helmets.

Irish and International DJs will bring the stage to life with cutting edge beats and performance symbolizing the many directions #AbsolutNights can take you. Friday’s stage opens with acts such as Welcome, Sim Simma, Abstract and Bedlam before Sense is set to put on an unforgettable performance to close out the Friday night.

Saturday opens with District 8, who are bringing things back to basics, showcasing a variety of the finest electronic and live music powered by a world class sound system and mind blowing visuals. Next up is Homebeat, followed by Bodytonic and Telephones before Lumo, brought to you by Nialler9, State Magazine’s Simon Roche and Adultrock’s Gavin Elsted take to the stage. Not just another house and techno show – Lumo is an experience with no restrictions that plays classics and curveballs, focusing on the tunes and not the genres. Closing out the Saturday night is Hidden Agenda with a performance set to take the roof off the Industries Hall!

Making sure Metropolis Nights are unforgettable and unexpected, Absolut is once again bringing Ireland’s top mixologists to Metropolis to help create a menu of delectable cocktails at the signature Absolut Facet Bar including RASPBERRY FIZZ & PEAR DROP.
