The team at Galway’s premier music venue, Monroe’s Live, have another stellar line-up for your listening pleasure, this weekend. If Abigail is still ploughing her way through the west, then take shelter in Monroe’s and check out some funktastic live tunes. So, who’s on the bill?

On ThursdayThe Grahams kick off proceedings with their signature Americana folk and roots riffs, just before British singer Ian Prowse takes to the stage at 10 pm.

If Friday night pints in Galway’s West-end is what you’re up for, then head into Limerick, Indie quartet Men of Twenty, followed up by The Big Eazy; a rockin’ good start to a November weekend.

Saturday and Sunday promise to be real [pre] Christmas crackers, with The Madisons, The Satellites and Stompin’ Dave Allen; you’ll be dancing all the way into Monday morning!

Aside from the tunes, if you’re belly starts rumblin’, then Monroe’s Tavern dish out some fine grub, and the adjoining pizza place serves up the best slice in town. With all that, you won’t even have to leave the building!

Check out Monroe’ for tickets.
