The Voice UK returns to our screens this Saturday, and to celebrate, the coaches had a tea party!
New to the panel, Paloma Faith, looked stunning in a zebra print number. The eccentric songbird has said she will not coach anyone under 18, to save them from the industry. She’s also hit out at tabloids: “Every time I am quoted in a tabloid headline it is sensationalised lies.”
Boy George, new coach No.2 has apparently been having issues with Faith;will there be fisticuffs and bitch fights? Here’s hoping!
Voice veteran Will.I.Am has new, friendly tactics up is sleeve: “I see somebody out there that needs to go with Paloma, I’m gonna freaking pitch for Paloma. If I see somebody out there that needs to go with George, I’m pitching for George. If I see somebody out there that needs to be with Ricky, little slicky tricky Ricky, I’m pitching that way.”
Last year’s winning coach Ricky Wilson is donned in his usual sharp, dapper Dan attire. The former Kaiser Chiefs front man has, in the past, been a big hit with the contestants (ladies and gents) for his brilliant pitches. This series should be no different.
The Voice UK airs on BBC One at 7.30 pm, January 9th.
