T-minus two weeks until the Dublin New Year’s Eve Festival countdown kicks off on December 30th. But what exactly is happening?

Stephen’s Green Street Fest

Le Galaxie, Wyvern Lingo and All Tvvins will ring us into 2016 in pure style. These acclaimed Irish acts return to Dublin having played gigs and festivals both at home an abroad. All Tvvins are one of the most exciting acts to emerge from Ireland in recent years, and the girls from Wyvern Lingo are sure to set the stage alight with their soaring vocals, before the trio head off to the UK on tour as special guests of Hozier.

Ticket proceeds are going straight to a worthy cause: the NCBI (National Council for the Blind of Ireland). The NCBI are a non- profit charity, which offers support and services to people of all ages who are experiencing difficulties with their eyesight.

First Music Contact Music Trial

Fifteen venues across the city will  play host to live music from the best new artists Ireland has to offer selected from Dublin’s prestigious Hard Working Class Heroes line up.  The trail demonstrates how the city supports its artists while also creating a  fantastic atmosphere of pop up goodies for visitors and residents alike during the New Year’s Festival – and it’s all free!
