What’s the name? Eoin Martin

Where’s he from? Tullamore, Co. Offaly

Who does he sound like? Ben Howard, Newton Faulkner

Where does he see himself in three years?

“I’d like to see myself more established around the Dublin music scene, as well as outside of Dublin. Next year I will be releasing my new E.P featuring my latest release, ‘Harriet’. (Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud, YouTube)

The plan for this E.P is to have a different producer for every track; someone who can capture the atmosphere and aesthetics of the songs fully…just like Alan Dooley has achieved on ‘Harriet’.

The plan from there is that all of the next tracks are going to be written for the next album, summing up a period of seven years of amazing adventures, experienced and still to come, friends made and loves lost (vice/versa), personal growth, and a little ghost story to sweeten the deal.

When it comes to playing live I’d really like to gain a residency slot in any one of the fantastic venues that Ireland has to offer, most of my nights are spent gigging around the open mic scene in Dublin, Tullamore and wherever my musical ventures take me. I was fortunate enough to play Vantastival this year to a lovely crowd alongside great acts and I am aiming to be on the bill for more Irish festivals.

I love putting all of this energy and passion into my music, but in the next three years, I hope to gain more traction on the music scene, as there’s plenty of hidden talent in Ireland bursting out of every corner and county. (Color//Sound, Gary O’Neil, Sinead White, Tae Lane, Handsome Handsome, Declan Greene)

Alongside my gigs, I’ll also be taking to the streets of Dublin and beyond, busking and trying out new songs. If you see me, feel free to say hello!”

With an incredible song-writing ability, Martin keeps his audience hanging on every word with sharp, deep vocals. Trust us, this guy is going to be big.
