Adele – Hello

“Hello, it’s me”: the first words we hear from Adele’s long-awaited, third studio album, 25. Speculation has been rife about what kind of sound the Londoner would bring after her last record, 21, released in 2011. 21 spent a whopping 24 weeks at No.1. This new track features the singer’s trademark piano intro, big busting chorus, as well as her wonderful lyricism. Hello was produced by Greg Kurstin (Sia, Beyonce).

Charlie Winston – #Saysomething

This fella has been staying quiet, but his new track #SaySomething has been released in support of The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies; we’ll give him props for that one. Winston says: “[the track] is about having the courage to speak up and take action over issues that concern all of us, as a global community and as individuals. I want to use this song, and my position as an artist, to shine a light on the humanitarian and environmental issues which surround us. ” New album Curio City coming soon.

Villagers – Memoir

Villagers have released Memoir, the new track from their upcoming album, Where Have You Been All My Life? Conor’s voice sounds magnificent, as usual, in this simply beautiful song, accompanied by the lads’ on-point musicality. The new album is expected to be just as amazing as Darling Arithmetic.
