The term ‘triple-threat’ is thrown around in media circles more than we care to mention – but when it comes to Kerry’s most beloved modelling export, Grace Madden, it’s a slight understatement; this belle de jour has more talent hidden in her kitten-heels than we do in our entire shoe collection.
At just twenty-three, Madden’s enviable resume boasts a top-model career, an enchanting aptitude for presenting, a sense of style that just won’t quit, and the most impressive element of her CV – a dazzling, warm, and captivating personality. Yes, we hate her too! 😉
The southern beauty currently resides in the Kingdom of Kerry with her kitty-cat and filmmaker beau, Kyle Christy. Having recently graduated with a BA in Broadcasting, she is well on her way to a sparking media career. So what are her plans?
“Plans for the future is to move away. Originally it was to be Manchester, but lately I’m thinking of going to Dublin, and I’ll possibly do another course in either makeup or continue with Media with the Park Studios course, which is a course in television presenting. I’m still pretty young and have a lot of plans for myself.”
Together with Tralee musician Paulie O’ Brien, Grace presents monthly music show Revolution, which she explains “is a platform for Kerry-based bands to play their original music, there is some amazing talent here.”
Grace also fronts her own show on style-focused YouTube channel, GraceyMads. “It’s all about makeup and style. I’m still finding my feet with it so the videos are not regular as I’m working full-time, but its getting there. I really enjoy it.” Her honest, fun, and quirky style makes this a must-see for fashionistas.
Grace told Nitelife: I’ts pretty much all new to me, but I started it to keep on top of my editing skills as well as filming. I purchased a compact camera and a tripod so I’m all professional! It was daunting to film my first video as it was a review on Inglot makeup. I always watch YouTube, probably more than television and it’s a good way to show off your style and also DIY tips. I think I have something interesting thoughts with the modelling and other projects I’m working on to give a behind the scene view to it.”
It seems as though Grace is perpetually in-front of a camera – if it’s not presenting, it’s strutting her stuff in decadent designs, which is something that she absolutely loves. If you think you know her face it’s probably from recent appearances on RTE: “My agency has a contract with RTE in September for the Today Show, I have done it a few times…it’s something different to the normal fashion shows and shoots.”
So as per usual, we wanted to get an insight into Madden’s musical meanderings. Who does she love, who does she hate? So we ‘posed’ our – Do ya Like Good Music – questions to gorgeous Grace.

G.M: A band called Towers, again I met at the Revolution show, they are from Limerick and have a serious sound mixed with Rap.
D.M: Do you have a favourite runway/catwalk track?
G.M: Oh yes! Great question.. I actually walked to this at Kerry Fashion Week two years ago wearing Don O Neill, an amazing designer who has made the red carpet and Oprah is a fan of him! Plus he is from Ballyheigue here in Kerry so of course its great to see him make it big, but he is living in New York at the moment so it was really special getting to wear his stuff. Anyway, I opened the show walking to Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, I actually get goosebumps thinking about it, the lights, the carpet, uh it was class! Powerful stuff
A big thanks to Grace for chatting to us this week. Don’t forget to check out her YouTube channel GraceyMads. We have no doubt that the future is incredibly bright for this talented lady. 🙂
