Good news for hungry Galwegians: Deliveroo, the on-demand delivery service for high-quality meals, is coming to serve the west.

Deliveroo’s Irish Operations Manager, Oliver Dewhurst, said: “The Irish business is experiencing phenomenal growth in Dublin and Cork and we’re excited to add Galway, with more to come in the near future.”

The company is currently recruiting 30 drivers around Galway to work with partner restaurants like: McCambridges, Hooked, Creole and The Dough Bros.

The service launched in Dublin last April and partnered with over 40 restaurants, to deliver to office-based and residential customers.

Anis Harb, country manager with Deliveroo said: “We typically work with quality restaurants that don’t offer delivery, whose selection is particularly exciting. We’re an end to end home delivery solution; we provide the entire infrastructure – the drivers, the technology, the ordering platform, so that restaurants can at the touch of a button, turn on incremental revenue with zero additional investment.”
