Norwegian indie-pop trio Chain Wallet have shared a video for their latest track, “Muted Colours”. Released via Clash Magazine, the clip is filmed in the style of a VHS and reflects the trios rainy, gloomy Scandinavian hometown of Bergen, a coastal town nestled among mountains and fjords. On their debut album, their music will explore themes of betrayal, idleness, and crushed dreams, delivered under heavy layers of synth and reverb. Frode Boris from the band explains the sound and ethos behind the album, saying “The album is about fragmented memories, unfulfilled ambitions and the quiet whisper of a stranger.”
Chain Wallet’s self-titled tled debut album is out on 7th October with Jansen Plateproduksjon.
