Ready to dance your socks off to the rhythm of Celtic Rock? Well, you will be with Na Fianna’s latest album.
The band has been together since 2007 and came 2nd in ‘The all Ireland talent show‘ in 2009. Since then, the lads have been singing, ‘folking’ and rocking out loud, some of the greatest Irish traditional songs like: ‘Rocky Road to Dublin’, ‘Galway girl’ and ‘I’ll tell me ma’, in their own unique style of course!
Tomorrow 29th July, from 6pm, the Opium Rooms will host the first live performance of the four folk singers, to officially launch their new album Unearthed.
Would you like be part of the action? Bad news. You need to be on the VIP guest list. If you’re anxious to listen to them, you can grab their album on iTunes (cheapest option), or if you just want a taster, then check out their new single ‘Toora Loora Lay’.
Older generations can travel back in time to re-live some of the classic Irish ballads. Others will discover a part of traditional Irish music history through Na Fianna’s vocals and instruments: banjo, percussion, accordion, and guitar.
The album will see the light of day on the last day of July.
Don’t miss out.
