Till Deaf Do Us Party Records have released their 2nd collection of music as a fundraising initiative for charity CALM, or the Campaign Against Living Miserably. The compilation features 20 tracks from a number of artists passionate about the charity, including the likes of Grieving and Lonely The Brave who have been featured on Nitelife before.

The aim of the compilation is to raise money for CALM and to raise awareness for mental illness and the fact that mental illness is no longer a taboo, especially among men. Every band involved in the compilation has a story and a reason for donating to the record. Jim from Cassels shared his personal story behind their donation with Till Deaf Do us Party.

“This song was written in the wake of a particularly debilitating few days of crippling anxiety and neurosis where I became too scared to leave my flat. As is often the case for people struggling with these sorts of episodes, I failed to talk to  anyone or seek help in any way. I consider myself lucky that writing songs can act  as a bit of a catharsis and remedy for me, however, most men aren’t so lucky. This is  a great cause and a great charity, and we’re really happy to be contributing this  track to try and help raise some money towards it.”
