Elvis Presley and The Beatles are his main named influences, “I need to get in the zone when I listen to musicians that influence me,” he says, “that make the hairs stand up!”. He prefers soulful acts like Queen, Nirvana and John Lennon, to be exact.”I am one guy and a guitar, with a lot of soul in me,” he goes on to describe his music. “My music is Folky Rock Avent

“I am one guy and a guitar, with a lot of soul in me,” he goes on to describe his music. “My music is Folky Rock Avent grade stuff, if I had a band behind it, it would probably be in the charts somewhere,” he later states. When asked what his favourite song in which he had written, he explained, “I would say a song called “Dancing with the Devil”,” he went on to express, “the lyrics took me at least a week to write and sounds awesome.” But from his debut EP, he reckons “Departure Story” is one he can feel in his blood when he performs it.

A highlight in his career so far would be winning Battle of the Bands with his track “Departure Story”. He auditioned for Britian’s Got Talent, and truly enjoyed the experience. Following on to discuss his pleasure in getting interviewed by Nitelife.ie.

An interesting fact now, when questioned “If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be?” he fired back with top names of John Lennon and Bob Dylan.

An artistic challenge in this moment in time for Bailey would be trying to grow his fanbase, along with getting his music out into the world. You can view his music over at https://soundcloud.com/gaz-bailey// <https://www.reverbnation.com/GazBailey //> https://www.facebook.com/GazBSongwriter.

He gave a bit of advice for beginner musicians, even though he knew it would be cliche, “Never give up.” Having been around about eight years now, he seems to be getting the hang off thing, feeling he’s just getting noticed now. “Get contacts, have good music and give it one hundred percent.”Plans for the rest of the year are left unknown, but one thing for sure he has quite a few gigs coming up, including, https://www.facebook.com/events/341180629339635/.
