Pixie Lott has made her theatre debut in a new production of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The blonde Briton takes on the role of New York society girl Holly Golightly; a part that’s causing some nerves, swapping the studio for the stage.

She told Independent, “It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be now we’re rehearsing. The cast are all really great and it’s good fun.

Lott continued, “We have had a few weeks of rehearsals and we’ve got another week to go, I’m quite nervous.”

After a performance at the Prince of Wales theatre as part of the WhatsOnStage awards in central London, she said, “I really, really enjoyed it. It’s amazing to be on the stage. It feels great to be amongst so many talented people and see the other performance and shows.”

The show will be on the road from May to June, before going on a three-month tour at Theatre Royal Haymarket in London’s West End.
