SOAK’s amazing debut album, Before We Forgot How to Dream has been shortlisted by the Mercury Prize this year! The winner will be announced on the 20th November, so fingers crossed for that one.

The BBC and Nitelife will be on hand with coverage for the event, so make sure you tune in! For those of you who haven’t bought the album yet, DO IT!

Not only does SOAK feature in the album of the year shortlist, but she has also been nominated for best new act in this year’s Q Magazine Awards. SOAK has travelled over from her European tour to attend the ceremony which is happening in London today. The album has also been nominate for the Northern Irish album of the year, the winner for this is announced on the 14th November.
